The 2020 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship, presented by MXstore, will have a record number of rider entries for Queensland with only 48 hours to go before racing action kicks under way for round 1 and 2 of the championship.
With more than 270 riders entered, Toowoomba is set to host an action-packed weekend of junior and senior competition with racing kicking off just after 8am on Saturday.
The entry list, released today at Here is littered with Australian and World Champion riders in the senior categories and a wealth of junior talent.
Motorcycling Australia Events Manager, Matthew Falvo, said he was blown away by the entry list.
“Motorcycling Australia has worked very hard over recent years with industry, teams, riders, local clubs and sponsors to grow it into the championship it is today,” Mr Falvo said.
“We are proud that this championship has helped produce world championship winning riders and teams such as our International Six Day Enduro teams, and we believe the championship will continue to deliver world class competition and riders.
“With continued support from Yamaha Motors Australia and new support from MXstore this year, we believe the championship can only continue to grow and prosper which is why we have introduced new classes this year.”
