AORC Set To Make Return To TV In 2022

The 2022 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship, presented by MXStore (AORC), are proud to announce today that AORC TV will return and be aired through official AORC TV partners, SBS HD and Stan Sport.

The partnership will once again bring one of Australia’s most exciting motorcycle sports into the living room of fans across the country.

This TV package for AORC will capture all of the on-track excitement, from the open natural terrain tracks of Cheerbah Queensland to the open flowing sections for the grand finale of Tasmania as well as coverage at each and every round of the 12 round championship, created into six special feature shows.

Each race weekend will feature a special one hour TV production showcasing the best of the 2022 AORC has to offer. With the opening rounds scheduled for this weekend 19-20 March the first episode wont be far away from your screens and will feature these epic opening Rounds 1 and 2, from Cherrabah Queensland.

AORC fans, teams and riders will be able to relive on SBS as the Championship’s Official free-to-air TV partner, and through the official sports streaming provider Stan Sport who will also Broadcast for 2022. The action will be captured by AVE, creators of the famous Speedweek show, who play the crucial role of production partner for MA’s biggest championships including ASBK, ProMX and AORC.

“Off-road fans are passionate about AORC and MA is proud to have secured this such an exciting television package for a second year that will put the AORC Championship in the homes of race fans right around the country.

The Championship year on year continues to produce world class racing, and is a significant reason why Australian off-road riders are pursued for events like the Dakar Rally, and American and European Off-Road Championship series, such is the calibre of the Championship.
