Over 220 warriors of the dirt will do battle this weekend and unlike at the previous round, which was two sprint style format races, this weekend will be a cross-country on Saturday and sprint format which will put a full stop on this year’s eleven round championship.
In the E1 class, Luke Styke (Active8 Yamaha Yamalube) holds down a 16-point advantage over KTM Enduro Racing Team’s Lyndon Snodgrass.
KTM Enduro Racing Team’s Daniel Milner has pretty much got one hand and four fingers on the E2 Championship.
While the E3 championship may have already been won, which saw Husqvarna Enduro Racing Team’s Daniel Sanders locking it up at the previous round in South Australia, the fight is on for second with Andrew Wilksch (Motul Pirelli Sherco Team) and Jesse Lawton (Thor MX) to be going hammer and tongs.
Kyron Bacon (EJ) (MX Store, KTM) is hunting his first senior’s championship this weekend with a 17-point lead in the championship.
Yamaha MXStore Ballards Off Road Team’s Jess Gardiner (Women), who holds down a 25-point lead over the ever improving Emma Milesevic (Honda RideRed), will look to go back to back and take out a record fifth Women’s AORC Championship.
In terms of classes, this weekend we’ll see E1, E2, E3, EJ (U18), Women’s, Veterans, Masters, J2, J3, J4 and back again for this weekend, the 2 Stroke Cup, who will all be going toe-to-toe for supremacy.
