This weekend will see both seniors and juniors complete in their first cross country of the season.

The senior action kicks off on Saturday at midday, with the field to compete in a prologue to determine their starting positions on a tight and technical track.

The real examination will come on Sunday, as the riders will undertake a four-hour race around a 27km loop beginning at 9:30am. The E3, E2, E1, and EJ classes will all battle it out over that duration, whilst the Women’s and Masters classes will race for three hours.

The Juniors will go into battle on Saturday at 12:30pm, with the J4 and J3 classes competing for three hours, while the J2 class will race for two and a half hours. Before the cross-country gets underway, riders will partake in a prologue to determine the starting order. The Juniors will encounter a 15km loop track, with the wide-open spaces of the desert conditions set to test the participants.
