Reynders and McMahon to join Milner in high-profile KTM squad
Daniel Milner’s one-year-old eponymous enduro race team will be significantly strengthened in 2025 with the inclusion of Jonte Reynders and Korey McMahon.
The trio will compete under the DM31 Racing Team banner on KTM machinery in the Australian Enduro Championship (AEC), which will be held over 12 rounds between March and October.
Reynders (E1), Milner (E2) and McMahon (E3) will not only be fighting for class honours in 2025, but also for the exalted title of outright Pro Enduro champion as the most successful rider in the AEC paddock.
Reynders will be shifting across to DM31 after six years with the distributor-backed Shero team, while McMahon was in GASGAS colours in the Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) in 2024 – now the AEC.
“I’m excited for the 2025 season! I’m sure you’re used to hearing that from us riders, but honestly, next year I truly am,” said Milner.
“I’m excited for Korey and Jonte to be joining my KTM DM31 Racing Team and I hope to share my knowledge and the race skills that I have learnt over the years while I am still at the top of my game.
“I have observed Jonte and Korey all year and really admire their drive and determination to improve and – most of all – win, which I believe was a standout amongst the field. I’m absolutely stoked to have them on my team and am looking forward to pushing them to reach their potential.
“For me, it’s business as usual making sure I get myself and my sponsors on that top step again. Being back on the KTM this year was amazing and has brought the fun back into racing, with the added motivation of starting my own team and beginning the next chapter of my career.
“Without KTM and all of our generous sponsors, I would not be able to run this team and keep my dreams alive.”
Hard-nosed veteran Milner, the outright winner of the International Six Days Enduro in 2018 and a multiple Australian Four-Day Enduro champion, defeated Reynders in a stirring 2024 AORC E2 battle after returning from EnduroGP competition, while McMahon was second in E1 behind Kyron Bacon.
Reynders and McMahon also represented Team Australian in the 2024 ISDE in Spain, with the former impressing with a top-10 finish in the E2 class and 21st outright.
The 2025 AEC will begin in Kempsey (NSW) on March 1-2.
